Refund & Returns Policy

No Standard Return Period for Plants

Plants are living organisms and fall under perishable goods. This means they are excluded from the legal right of withdrawal (Article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code) and cannot be returned like other products.

30‑Day Plant Guarantee

We want you to be happy with your new green companion. That’s why we offer a 30‑day plant guarantee starting from the delivery date.

This means:

  • If your plant unexpectedly deteriorates within 30 days, despite proper care, we’ll work with you to find a suitable solution.
  • This may be a replacement plant, store credit, or another appropriate arrangement — depending on the situation.

What is covered?

  • Plants that wilt, rot, or show severe damage within 30 days
  • Issues not caused by care mistakes
  • Damage during transport or upon arrival
  • Problems caused by extreme temperatures during shipping

What is not covered?

  • Normal growth changes or natural leaf loss
  • Damage caused by incorrect watering, drafts, direct sunlight, or an unsuitable location
  • Plants that have been repotted, trimmed, or altered
  • Damage caused by neglect or extreme conditions

We may request additional photos or information to properly assess the situation.

Returns for Non‑Living Products

For pots, accessories, and other non‑living items, the following rules apply:

  • You have a 14‑day cooling‑off period starting from the day of receipt.
  • The product must be unused and in its original packaging.
  • Gift cards and digital products cannot be returned.
  • Return shipping costs are paid by the customer, unless the return is due to our mistake.
  • If the product is used, damaged, or incomplete, a depreciation may be applied.

Refunds

  • We will refund you within 14 days after receiving the returned product.
  • Refunds are issued using the same payment method you used for the purchase.

How to Submit a Return or Guarantee Claim

Please email info@floraholic.nl with:

  • your order number
  • photos of the plant or product
  • photos of the packaging (if relevant)
  • a short description of the issue

You will receive a response within 2 to 5 business days. We take every plant and product seriously and carefully review each case.
