Care tips

Scandens Brasil loves light, but not direct sunlight. Place her in partial shade or filtered light — for example, behind a curtain or on a shelf a few meters from the window. The more light she gets, the brighter her yellow stripes become — sometimes even neon green! But be careful: direct sun can scorch and dry out her leaves.

When it comes to watering: keep the soil lightly moist, especially in spring and summer. Let the top layer dry out slightly between waterings. In winter, she can easily go a week without water. Always check with your fingers — if the soil still feels moist, skip watering. Too much water can lead to root rot, so make sure her pot has good drainage.
