Care tips
All three Alocasias thrive in bright, indirect light. A spot near an east- or west-facing window is perfect. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch their leaves. They grow best in a stable environment without drafts or temperature swings.
When it comes to watering, they prefer lightly moist soil but are sensitive to soggy roots. Allow the top layer of soil to dry out between waterings and make sure the pot has drainage holes. In winter, reduce watering slightly. Use lukewarm water and avoid cold shocks.
They love high humidity. Mist them regularly or place them on a tray with water and hydro granules. During the growing season, you can feed them monthly with a foliage plant fertilizer. Note: all three are toxic to pets, so keep them out of reach of curious noses.
